About This Product
KB Performance 1200cc Big Twin piston kit in +.020 inch oversize. Sold as a set. Fits 1941 through 1978 74-inch and 1200cc Knucklehead, Panhead, and Shovelhead models. Works with stock cylinders and heads at 8.5:1 compression. The dome head measures 0.656 inch with a negative 57cc volume. Each piston weighs 370 grams and the pin weighs 97 grams. Compression height is 1.450 inch, bore is 3.4375 inch, and stroke is 3.969 inch. Cast from T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic aluminium with 16 percent silicone. Give the top compression ring extra clearance during installation and follow the supplied instructions closely.
