About This Product
KB Performance standard bore piston kit for 1200cc Big Twin. Sold as a set. These fit stock cylinders and heads on 1941 to 1978 74-inch Knucklehead, Panhead, and Shovelhead models. The slugs are T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic cast aluminium with 16 percent silicone. They give an 8.5:1 compression ratio. Bore is 3.4375 inches. Compression height is 1.450 inches. Dome is 0.656 inch. Run them tight. You get long wear. Piston slap is minimal. The top compression ring requires additional clearance during installation. Follow the supplied instructions carefully.
