This KB Performance big bore piston kit is designed to convert your 883 Sportster into a 1200cc powerhouse. Sold as a set, these pistons are +.005" oversize and feature a dish head design that delivers a 10:1 high compression ratio while remaining compatible with your stock, unmodified cylinder heads. Manufactured from T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic cast aluminum with 16% silicone, these pistons allow for tight clearances, ensuring a long service life with minimal piston noise. This kit fits 1986 to 2022 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 models. Please note that the top compression ring requires additional clearance during installation. For 2004 and later 883 models, you must purchase 1200cc cylinders as the stock liners are too thin to be bored out.
