About This Product
This KB Performance piston kit is designed for 1984 to 1999 1340cc Evolution Big Twin models requiring a .020 inch oversize. Sold as a set, these flat-top pistons provide a dependable 8.5:1 compression ratio, making them ideal for standard rebuilds. The T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic construction with 16% silicone allows for tighter-than-normal clearances, which significantly reduces piston noise and increases service life. As with all KB hypereutectic sets, the top compression ring must be installed with additional clearance as specified in the instructions. This kit is a professional-grade option for restoring power and smoothness to your Evolution engine.
