About This Product
This KB Performance pop-up piston kit is engineered to boost performance in 1984 to 1999 1340cc Evolution Big Twin engines. Sold as a set in standard size, these pistons feature a domed head that bumps compression up to a 9.5:1 ratio. Like all KB hypereutectic pistons, they are T6 heat-treated and contain 16% silicone, allowing for tight fitment and quiet operation. Builders should note that the top compression ring requires specific additional clearance as detailed in the instructions. These are an excellent choice for riders wanting more punch from their Evo without sacrificing the longevity provided by high-quality cast components.
