About This Product
KB Performance conversion kit bumps a 1986 to 2022 Sportster 883 up to 1200cc. These are +.020" oversize flat-top pistons. They work with stock unmodified 883 heads. They give 9:1 compression. They are T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic cast aluminium with 16% silicone. Tight tolerances keep piston slap down. Sold as a set. On 2004 and later XL883 models you need 1200cc cylinders. The original liners are too thin to bore. Gap the top compression ring per the included instructions.
