This KB Performance forged piston kit is designed for 1999 to 2006 88 inch Twin Cam engines being converted to a 95 inch displacement with a +.040 inch overbore. These pistons provide a 9.25:1 compression ratio with 85cc heads and are manufactured from 4032 forged aluminum alloy for superior structural integrity. The forging process ensures these pistons can handle the stresses of high-performance riding better than cast alternatives. The kit is sold as a set and includes offset wrist pins, retaining rings, and piston rings. Because the wrist pins are offset, you must follow the installation instructions for correct front and rear positioning. Additionally, ensure you provide the required .001 inch of extra piston-to-wall clearance to accommodate the expansion characteristics of the forged alloy.
