This KB Performance forged piston kit is a high-strength option for 1984–1999 1340cc Evolution Big Twin engines. These +.020" oversize pistons are forged from 4032 aluminum alloy, providing the molecular density needed for high-performance applications. The domed head design brings the compression ratio to 9.5:1 when used with stock 80cc heads. These pistons are engineered to resist cracking under pre-ignition while maintaining a relatively low expansion rate for a forged part. Sold as a set, the kit comes complete with rings and offset wrist pins. Because the pins are offset, correct orientation in the cylinder is critical; always refer to the included instructions to ensure the front and rear sections are positioned properly.
