About This Product
Wiseco high compression piston kit for 1972 to 1985 XL1000 Ironhead Sportster. Bore is +.040". Forged pistons give 10:1 compression. Kit contains pistons, wristpins, Hastings rings and circlips. Fits stock XL cylinder heads. Will not fit XR-style heads. Use this when the bore is already at +.040" as a final option for cylinders that need a deeper cut. Forged construction handles the heat and pressure better than cast on these older motors.
