This Wiseco conversion piston kit is designed to take your 883cc or 1100cc Sportster up to a full 1200cc displacement. Sold as a kit, it includes reversed dome forged pistons, rings, wrist pins, and circlips. These pistons are oversized by .030 inches and are engineered to work with your stock cylinder heads without modification, providing a compression ratio of approximately 9.5:1. For 1986 to 2003 Sportster XL models, you can bore out your stock cylinders, while 2004 to 2022 models will require 1200cc cylinders due to thinner liners. This upgrade can deliver a significant 26% power increase. Because the piston weight is kept close to stock, you will not need to worry about rebalancing the bottom end during installation.
