Designed for 1340cc Shovelhead models from 1979 to 1984, this Wiseco forged piston kit is sized at .020 inches over standard. It is specifically built for reliability, featuring a low 7:1 compression ratio compared to the stock 8:1. This makes it a great option for heavy touring or for engines operating in warmer climates where heat management is critical. The kit is sold as a complete set including wrist pins, circlips, and Hastings rings. These pistons are machined to fit stock-style Hastings rings with 1.2mm top and middle ringlands and a 4.75mm oil ring. Choosing forged pistons ensures your Shovelhead has the internal strength needed for years of service.
