This Wiseco forged piston kit is sized at .010 inches over standard for 1200cc Panhead and Shovelhead engines from 1948 to 1979. These pistons offer a 9:1 compression ratio, providing a nice performance boost over the stock 8.5:1 ratio while remaining very reliable for street use. Forged pistons are a great upgrade for these older engines as they handle heat and stress much better than original cast pistons. This set is sold as a pair and includes Hastings rings, wrist pins, and circlips. The pistons are machined for 1.6mm top and middle rings and a 4.75mm oil ring, giving your classic Harley a high-quality top-end seal.
