About This Product
This is the KB Performance big bore piston kit to take an 883 Sportster to 1200cc. It is sold as a set in +.020" oversize. The dish head gives a 10:1 compression ratio with stock cylinder heads. The pistons are T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic cast aluminium with 16% silicone. They run quiet. It fits 1986-2022 Sportster 883. You will need to add clearance to the top compression ring. Note that 2004 and later 883 models have cylinder liners too thin to bore. You must fit 1200cc cylinders for this conversion.
