When you are dealing with a vintage Linkert carburetor that has seen decades of use, the threads for the high-speed needle can often become worn or stripped. This Samwel adjustable high-speed needle is an oversize version featuring an extra-long thread specifically designed to bite into those worn carb bodies, saving you from having to source a new casting. It is intended for 1 1/4 inch Linkert carburetors, including M-41, 42, and 52 models. Fitment covers 1937 to 1952 45 inch WL and WLD models, as well as 1927 to 1948 74 inch and 80 inch Sidevalve Big Twins. This is a practical solution for the workshop, allowing for fine-tuning of the fuel mixture even on high-mileage vintage iron.
