About This Product
Designed for big-bore Milwaukee-Eight engines, this S&S cam chest kit includes the 550G gear drive camshaft and a matching valve spring kit. The core components consist of a blue anodized billet aluminum oil pump and cam plate, which offer increased oil flow capacity and an adjustable pressure relief valve. To ensure valvetrain stability at high RPM, the kit provides S&S tappets, black hard-anodized tappet cuffs, and Quickee pushrods paired with chrome covers. By moving to a gear drive system, this kit eliminates the factory chain tensioner for more precise timing. It is sold as a kit and includes all required installation hardware and gaskets.
