About This Product
These JIMS cam and pinion gear gauge pins are essential for accurately checking the pitch diameters of your gears. Measuring .108" in diameter, they are sold as a pair and are used to ensure the gear mesh is within tolerance. A fit that is too loose will result in an annoying clicking noise, while a fit that is too tight causes a whine and can lead to gear tooth or bearing damage. These pins are suitable for 1990–1999 Big Twin models and can also be used for S&S or OEM Twin Cam engines equipped with aftermarket gear-driven cams. Always refer to your service manual for the correct sizing charts to ensure a quiet and durable gear drive.
