Working on the cam chest of a Twin Cam requires the right tools to avoid damaging expensive components. This JIMS cam chain tensioner tool is designed to unload the tension from both the primary and secondary chain tensioners, making cam installation or removal much safer and easier. Additionally, the tool allows you to check the spring loads on the tensioners to ensure they are still within spec. It fits 1999 to 2006 Twin Cam models, excluding the 2006 Dyna. It is a must-have for any shop performing cam swaps or tensioner inspections on early Twin Cam engines.
