About This Product
When the OEM plastic breather valve fails, it often leaves the breather hole in the crankcase scored or damaged. This JIMS breather reamer tool allows you to repair that damage without the labor-intensive process of disassembling the engine cases. Designed for 1936 to 1999 Big Twins, excluding Twin Cam models, it reams the hole to a precise +.030 inch oversize. This allows for the installation of a matching oversized steel breather from JIMS or S&S. It is a massive time-saver for vintage restorations and Evo repairs alike. Just be sure to clear all aluminum chips after reaming, and check wall thickness on early 1936 to 1969 cases to ensure there is enough material to support the larger bore.
