About This Product
When it comes to bottom-end components, JIMS is the gold standard for precision. This sprocket shaft fits 1930 to 1954 OHV Big Twins and 1937 to 1948 74-inch and 80-inch Flatheads. It features a keyway designed for use with a 23985-12 key. For installation, you will need a 24023-36 nut on the flywheel side and a 24003-30 nut on the sprocket side. Machined in California from special-order steel, these shafts are ground to a 16-micron finish or better. With concentricity held within .0003 inches, this shaft makes truing your flywheels much faster and more accurate, ensuring a smooth-running engine that can withstand high torque stress.
