About This Product
This JIMS circuit breaker gear shaft replaces OEM 25856-36. It fits 1936 to 1969 Big Twin models. The shaft drives the ignition timing gear and keeps the spark consistent. Wear or end-float here causes misfire and poor running. JIMS machines these to tight tolerances so the gear stays aligned. Fit it when you are rebuilding the timing chest on a Knucklehead, Panhead, or early Shovelhead. Check the bush and the gear bore before you install it.
