About This Product
For 1993 to 1999 Evolution Big Twin models with head-vented breathing systems, this S&S reed breather valve offers a significant upgrade over the traditional rotating style. Unlike mechanical valves that open and close based on fixed crankshaft timing, this reed valve responds to actual crankcase pressure. This allows it to open and close at the ideal moment regardless of RPM, which is especially effective at reducing oil carry-over during high-speed riding. It is a standard outside diameter replacement that drops into the stock location. Please note that this reed-style valve is specifically designed for head-vented engines and is not suitable for use with older crankcase-vented models.
