This MCS unmolded alternator stator delivers 38 amps of charging power for 2001–2006 Harley-Davidson Softail and 2004–2006 Dyna models. The unmolded construction provides better cooling than sealed factory stators by allowing air to flow around the windings, which helps prevent overheating and generally extends service life. The 38-amp output is well-suited to the electrical demands of these mid-2000s Twin Cam models, particularly if you have added accessories such as heated grips, auxiliary lighting, or audio equipment. This stator is a reliable replacement that addresses one of the more common failure points in the Twin Cam charging system.
