About This Product
This is an MCS unmolded alternator stator. It delivers 38 amps for 1997–1998 FLT/Touring models. The unmolded design lets air flow around the windings. It sheds heat better than a sealed stator and lasts longer. Touring bikes run hard and draw a lot of current from accessories. Overheating is the main cause of failure on these. Fit this if you have charging problems or you are servicing the primary already.
