These rubber fork boots are designed specifically for the 35mm Kayaba forks found on early 1970s Harley-Davidson models. Sold as a pair, they are the correct fitment for 1973 to 1974 XL Sportsters and 1973 to 1977 FX models. These dust covers play a vital role in protecting your fork tubes and seals from the elements, preventing premature wear caused by dirt and moisture. They are a direct replacement for OEM part numbers 45983-73 and 45983-73T. If you are working on a restoration of a first-generation FX Super Glide or a vintage Sportster, these MCS boots provide the necessary protection with a factory-original appearance.
