516578 Bobber Sportster style 2.25g gas tank, scalloped sides

This 2.25-gallon Bobber Sportster-style gas tank features unique scalloped sides for a standout custom look. It is designed to fit 1983-2003 XL Sportster models and various custom applications. The tank accepts 1983-up screw-type gas caps and features a 3/8-inch internal thread petcock outlet on the left side. Included mounting brackets can be cut and welded to achieve the perfect placement on your frame. Measuring approximately 8 inches high and 9 inches wide with a 15-inch long tunnel, it provides a compact and aggressive profile. As with all custom sheet metal, we recommend a thorough pressure test and test fit before painting, as the storage coat is only for rust prevention. This tank carries part number 516578.
