Precision is everything when it comes to the bottom end of a Harley motor. This Jims flywheel run-out inspection gauge allows you to check the trueness of the flywheel from the pinion shaft while it is still assembled in the crankcase. It is an invaluable tool for 1970 to 2017 Big Twin models, excluding Milwaukee-Eight engines. Beyond checking run-out, it is also the perfect tool for measuring gear lash on aftermarket gear-driven cams in Twin Cam engines. Ensuring these tolerances are within spec is the only way to guarantee a quiet, long-lasting engine and prevent premature wear on your cam chest components.
