Installing a mainshaft oil seal on a 6-speed transmission requires precision to avoid damaging the bearings or the seal itself. This JIMS mainshaft oil seal installer is the professional way to get the job done right. The kit includes a small guide cap to lead the seal onto the shaft and a larger installer tool to drive it to the exact depth required. This ensures the seal goes in perfectly straight every time without putting unnecessary stress on the precision bearings. It is designed for use with OEM seals 12074 and 12074A. This tool fits 2007 to 2026 Softail, Touring, and Trike models, as well as 2006 to 2017 Dynas and 2006 to 2022 Sportsters.
