For those 1937 to 1941 80-inch Flathead rebuilds where the cylinders need a fresh bore, this MCS piston kit is a reliable choice. This set is oversized by .040 inches for the 1300cc Side Valve engine. The kit is sold as a set and includes cast aluminum pistons, wrist pins, retainers, and rings. These are styled after the original components to maintain that stock feel and performance. Ensure you have a knowledgeable hand during installation to check all tolerances and clearances. Following the standard break-in procedure is essential to ensure these pistons and rings seat perfectly in your vintage Big Twin. OEM 22221-30 and 946484.
