For 114-inch M8 engines requiring a tighter seal and slightly higher compression, this .030-inch Cometic head gasket set is a professional-grade choice. It fits 2018 to 2024 Softails, 2017 to 2025 Touring models (excluding certain CVO and 2024-up specialty models), and 2017 to 2025 Trikes with the 4.016-inch bore. Sold as a pair, these Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) gaskets are engineered with stainless steel layers and a specialized polymer coating that withstands temperatures up to 250 degrees Celsius. The MLS design is preferred by engine builders because it provides a more stable seal and removes the requirement for O-rings at the dowel pins, ensuring a clean and reliable assembly.
