About This Product
This Cometic cylinder head gasket set is designed for 114-inch Milwaukee-Eight engines with a 4.016-inch bore. It fits 2018 to 2024 Softail models, 2017 to 2025 Touring models (excluding specific CVO and special editions like the FLTRXSE or FLHXSE), and 2017 to 2025 Trikes. Sold as a pair, these .040-inch thick gaskets utilize Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction. By using embossed stainless steel layers coated in a high-temperature polymer, Cometic has created a gasket that handles extreme thermal loads while eliminating the need for dowel pin O-rings. The layers are riveted together outside the sealing surface to make installation straightforward for any mechanic working on a modern M8 top end.
