About This Product
KB Performance 883 to 1200 conversion piston kit fits 1986 to 2022 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL883 models. These are +.010" oversize flat-top pistons. They work with stock unmodified heads. They run 9:1 compression. The pistons are T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic cast aluminium with 16% silicone. Sold as a set. Tight clearances keep them quiet. On 2004 and later XL883 models the stock cylinders cannot be bored. The liners are too thin. You must use 1200cc cylinders. Gap the top compression ring with extra clearance per the instructions.
