About This Product
This KB Performance forged piston kit is designed for 1948–1984 Panhead and Shovelhead engines equipped with 3-5/8" big bore cylinders. These are +.005" oversize pistons forged from 4032 aluminum alloy, providing the molecular strength needed for high-displacement stroker builds. They are compatible with a range of strokes from 4-1/4" to 4-3/4", offering compression ratios between 8.5:1 and 9.38:1 depending on your flywheel and cylinder setup. Sold as a set, the kit includes rings and offset wrist pins. The offset pins help with engine noise but require specific orientation; ensure you check the instructions to correctly identify the front and rear positions during your engine build.
