About This Product
Designed for the classic 1941–1978 1200cc and 80-inch Knucklehead, Panhead, and Shovelhead motors, this KB Performance forged piston kit is an excellent solution for cylinders requiring a +.070" oversize bore. These pistons are fully machined from 4032 forged aluminum alloy, offering superior strength over cast alternatives. The domed head design maintains a reliable 8.5:1 compression ratio when used with 112cc heads. Sold as a set, the kit includes rings and offset wrist pins designed to improve engine harmonics. Because the pins are offset, it is vital to install the pistons in the correct direction; please consult the included instructions to identify the front and rear orientation before assembly.
