About This Product
S&S polished billet aluminium tappet guides for Shovelhead. Sold as a pair. Fits 1966 to 1984 Shovelhead blocks and houses 1986 to 1999 Evolution Big Twin hydraulic lifters. You need an Evolution-style camshaft and S&S Quickee pushrods to complete the job. Configure for top-end oiling through the pushrods if you run S&S roller rockers. Note that an Evo cam in a Shovelhead drops valve lift slightly because the rocker ratios differ. Plan your build around that.
