About This Product
S&S Heavy Duty connecting rod assembly for late 1981 to 1999 Big Twins. The rods are drop-forged 4140 chrome moly steel. The kit includes the crankpin, nuts, woodruff key, and steel cages with rollers. It is ready to install. Wristpin bushings are reamed to 0.791 inch for late 1981 to 1983 Shovelhead. You must ream them to 0.792 inch for 1984 to 1999 Evo models. These are beefier than stock. Flywheel rebalancing is recommended.
