About This Product
MCS sprocket shaft. Fits 1965 electric start Panhead with aluminium primary, and all 1966 to 1969 early Shovelhead. Replaces OEM 24001-65. Also known as 517980. This is the shaft you need when refreshing the bottom end on these motors. It keeps the primary drive aligned to the flywheel assembly. Do not reuse a worn shaft on a rebuild. Fit this one.
Manufacturer part number: 517980.
