About This Product
JIMS sprocket shaft kit for late 1981–1985 OEM Big Twins and 1970–1999 Big Twins with aftermarket flywheels. This complete kit includes the sprocket shaft, flywheel-side nut (OEM 24017-80), motor sprocket nut (OEM 24003-55), and Woodruff key (OEM 23985-56). The shaft features an aftermarket 6-degree taper with keyway, fitting late 1981–1985 factory flywheels and 1970–1999 aftermarket flywheels. It replaces OEM 23909-80. Machined by JIMS in Camarillo, California from special-order steel, heat-treated for strength and ground to a 16-micron finish with all diameters concentric to within 0.0003". Everything you need in one box for a reliable bottom-end rebuild.
