Performance Machine transmission components bring the same Californian precision engineering that defines their billet wheel and brake line to the drivetrain side of Harley-Davidson builds. The focus here is on shift linkage, shift levers and transmission controls that deliver a crisp, positive feel every time you move through the gears. The dominant fitment is Dyna, Softail, Touring and Trike models — models that together cover the vast majority of current Harley-Davidson ownership — with strong coverage across the Milwaukee-Eight era alongside earlier Twin Cam platforms. Specific configurations also cover Softail, Touring and Trike without Dyna, FXR and Sportster fitments are in the mix too. Performance Machine's transmission controls are CNC-machined from billet aluminium and finished to the same exacting standard as their wheel collections, so they sit cleanly alongside other PM components on a coordinated build.
