This MCS transmission mount plate offers a significant 40mm offset, making it an ideal solution for extreme custom builds and wide-tyre conversions on 1986 to 1999 5-speed Softail models. Built from rugged stainless steel, this plate is designed to replace the standard OEM 47698-86B mount when additional clearance is mandatory for the drivetrain. The 40mm shift allows for proper belt or chain alignment in highly modified setups. As with all high-offset plates, please be aware that it may not be compatible with some aftermarket transmission housings. For the mechanic or custom shop tackling a serious Evolution-era Softail project, this stainless steel mount provides the necessary offset without compromising the strength or stability of the transmission mounting point.
