If you are working on an early 5-speed Big Twin from 1980 through 1984, getting the right gasket for the transmission bearing housing is vital. This Athena gasket is made from 0.75mm (.031-inch) fiber-reinforced paper and is a direct replacement for the early OEM 35652-79 model. It is important to note that this is specifically for those early 5-speeds and is not a direct replacement for the 35652-79A or 35652-79B versions used on 1985 to 1999 Evolution models. It provides the exact thickness and durability required to maintain proper spacing and a leak-free seal in the bearing housing assembly. These are sold as a pack of ten.
