If you're tired of that high-revving buzz on the motorway, this Zodiac six-speed conversion is the proper fix for stock five-speed transmissions. It keeps your standard 1-to-1 ratio in fifth but adds a 0.86 overdrive in sixth, dropping your cruising RPM by about 14% without sacrificing low-end acceleration. This kit fits 1991 to 1998 Dyna models and 1986 to 2006 Softail models when paired with a 1990 or later clutch. It is a comprehensive conversion featuring high-stress 20CrMnT gear steel and a beefy billet aluminium trap door to house the extra gear set. Everything from the precision-machined shifter drum to the state-of-the-art locking mechanism is designed for smooth, quiet operation. It is a solid, well-engineered upgrade that makes those long-distance hauls much more comfortable on your engine.
