About This Product
KB Performance forged piston kit for 1941 to 1978 1200cc Knucklehead, Panhead and Shovelhead. Bore is +.040 inch oversize. Material is 4032 aluminium alloy. Domed head gives 8.5:1 compression. Sold as a set with rings and offset wrist pins. Forging resists cracking under pre-ignition better than cast. Allow an additional .001 inch wall clearance compared to cast pistons. Position the front and rear sections correctly per the instructions.
