Produktbeschreibung
Upgrade your late Shovelhead with this KB Performance piston kit, sold as a set in a +.005" oversize. These pistons provide an 8.0:1 compression ratio and are constructed from T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic cast aluminum with 16% silicone. This material allows for tight clearances and exceptionally quiet performance. This kit fits 1979 to 1984 Harley-Davidson 1340cc Shovelhead models. Please note that the top compression ring needs additional clearance. Also, due to the wider ring pack design, some stock cylinders may require the oil return holes to be relocated lower to avoid oil consumption issues. These pistons offer a modern metallurgical upgrade for your classic 80 cubic inch Shovelhead engine.
